Dermapen Microneedling

DERMAPEN MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating a smoother, brighter, healthier, younger looking skin. The dermafix pen uses small needles to prick the skin to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother firmer toned skin. It is effective in treating hyperpigmentation, acne and acne scarring anti ageing rosacea stretch marks and hair loss.

Once we reach 25 years old, our cellular levels and skin automatically changes. Our skin produces less fibroblasts cells (responsible for making growth factors and new cells in the skin). Skin loses 1% of the number of fibroblasts and 1% of its thickness per year.

  • How does it work?

The Dermastamp penetrates your skin with thousands of microscopic needle columns, which encourages the skin’s natural repair process. As your skin regenerates, new collagen and skin cells are formed and blood supply is enhanced.
  • Does it hurt?

Even though the Dermastamp will be penetrating your skin more times than a Dermaroller, clients have expressed that it is less painful due to the speed at which the microscopic needles move at.
  • How many Dermastamp treatments do I need?

Although most clients report looking fresher and rested after a few days following treatment, it can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen. The process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement. Your practitioner will normally recommend a series of 3 – 4 treatments with approximately 4 weeks between them.
  • What should I expect immediately post eDermastamp treatment?

Immediately after your Dermapen Therapy procedure you will look as though you have mild to moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will subside after 3 – 4 hours with only slight redness the next day. Your practitioner will apply recovery Cream immediately after the procedure and you should continue to use this cream until the redness has cleared. SPF50 is advised immediately after the procedure and should be continued throughout your treatment course. It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 12 hours after the procedure and tepid water should be used to cleanse the face for the 48 hours following the procedure.
  • How long does the Dermastamp treatment take?

    Treatment time 60 minutes
